Facelift

Facelift

Facelifting is a surgical procedure that improves visible signs of aging on the face and neck, such as:

  • Relaxation of the facial skin
  • Deepening of the crease between the nose and the corner of the mouth
  • Loose skin and excess fat on the neck that can appear as a double chin.

Loss of youthful facial contours can be caused by a number of factors, including thinning skin, loss of facial fat, sun damage, smoking, as well as heredity and stress.

Other procedures that can be performed in combination with a facelift are eyebrow lifting i eyelid surgery to rejuvenate aging eyes. Fat transfer may be suggested to compensate for lost fat volume.

Preparation and operation procedure

The procedure is simple, you come to the hospital in the morning, you must not eat or drink anything in the morning. In the hospital, all findings, urine, laboratory and biochemical analyses, EKG, and examination by the anesthesiologist are performed. After that, we plan the operation, take photos.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts about 4 hours. The length of time depends on the type of operation, as it is possible to perform a more or less complex operation on individual parts of the face or the entire region of the face and neck, depending on the need.
