Blepharoplasty
Eyelid surgery - blepharoplasty
The operation can be performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both upper and lower eyelids.
Whether you want to enhance your appearance or have functional issues with your eyelids, eyelid surgery can rejuvenate the area around your eyes.
What can eyelid surgery treat?
- Sagging skin that creates creases or disrupts the natural contour of the upper eyelid, sometimes impairing vision
- Fat pads that appear as puffiness of the eyelids
- Bags under the eyes
- Drooping lower eyelids that reveal white beneath the iris
- Excess skin and fine lines of the lower eyelid
Blepharoplasty is performed under local anesthesia. Correction of the upper eyelids lasts 45 minutes, lower 1.30 minutes.
Eyelid correction can be performed in combination with other procedures such as Face Lifting or eyebrow lifting.
