ISAPS is the International Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery, the world's leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons with a mission to inspire and foster education in aesthetic surgery for patient safety. Today, the community of ISAPS members includes more than 5,000 of the world's most respected aesthetic and reconstructive surgeons in 117 countries.

The role of the national representative is to contribute to the maintenance of high standards when it comes to excellence in cosmetic surgery and patient safety, as well as to promote the work of this association.

The four-year mandate of Dr. Baroš will begin in June of this year at the big conference of the International Association of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery in Cartagena, Colombia, which Dr. Baroš will attend.

Dr. Baroš promised that he will work on the affirmation of aesthetic surgery in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that he will try to hold as many trainings and workshops as possible on the territory of BiH, both for young plastic surgeons and for experienced colleagues. Also, by being elected the national secretary of ISAPS for Bosnia and Herzegovina, through his work he will advocate that as many plastic surgeons as possible become members of this international association.
