A procedure that, in addition to the aesthetic part, very often also includes the functional part. Also, rhinoplasty is one of the most demanding procedures in plastic surgery.
With this procedure, we correct the tip of the nose, the nasal hump, the width and the base of the nose itself. By correcting the nasal septum, which often tends to be shifted to the left or right, we help the patient to breathe more easily.
We perform nose correction using the most modern Piezo technique where:
- there is no pronounced hump of the nose
- we get a narrowed nose
- we get a narrowed and raised tip of the nose, adapted to the new look of the nose.
Preparation and operation procedure
The procedure is simple, you come to the hospital in the morning, you must not eat or drink anything in the morning. In the hospital, all findings, urine, laboratory and biochemical analyses, EKG, and examination by the anesthesiologist are performed. After that, we plan the operation, take photos.
The procedure lasts up to 3 hours and is performed under general anesthesia.
Recovery
Hospitalization lasts 1 day, and the stitches are removed after 7 days.
The final result of the procedure can be fully expected after 2-3 months.
